Dedicated Lane Security Deposit
Shipper’s require a $490 Security deposit for all dedicated lanes, payable through Zelle, Venmo or Chime. This payment secures the pickup number for your load and ensures a smooth scheduling process. Once the driver submits the payment, they will immediately receive a Refundable Receipt and BOL with Pickup Number. This full deposit is returned after the successful completion of the first delivery, ensuring fairness and transparency for every carrier.
WHY SHIPPER'S REQUIRE A SECURITY DEPOSIT?
Shippers sometimes require a refundable security deposit when working with new MC carriers because new authorities do not yet have a proven operating history. In many industry cases, new carriers book a lane, confirm pickup, and then fail to show up at the pickup location. When this happens, the shipper becomes responsible for serious consequences, including missed pickups, production delays, customer penalties, and re-booking costs.
To protect the freight and ensure commitment, shippers require a deposit strictly as a security measure, not as a payment or fee, and it is returned after successful load completion.
PROFESSIONALISM, SECURITY & RELIABILITY
Carriers with an MC authority older than 2 years and a consistent performance record are considered established and professional. These carriers have already demonstrated reliability and lane discipline, so no deposit is required from them. This policy is a standard risk-management practice, applied fairly, and is intended only to protect the shipper and the shipment while ensuring smooth, professional execution of the load.
The deposit system protects shippers, brokers, and carriers alike. It prevents last-minute cancellations, reduces operational risks, and guarantees that loads move smoothly without unnecessary delays.
Good News: It's Fully Refundable
Once you complete your first delivery, the $490 reservation fee is fully refunded as our way of showing commitment to your success and ensuring we only partner with drivers ready to roll. This fee includes a dedicated lane assignment with steady freight, complete dispatch setup and route planning, access to high-paying loads from our trusted shipper network, assistance with required documents and onboarding, and ongoing 24/7 dispatch support once you’re on the road.
